Paradise Navigation is a Panamanian registered company, established in Greece under law 89 to perform management and ship operation functions for its owning principals.

Originally, it was founded back in 1968, as Navipower Compania Naviera SA, by the Tsakiris family, a traditional Greek ship-owning and operating family.

Navipower was relocated to Piraeus in 1996 by John Tsakiris and his son Konstantinos and since 1999 moved up to Athens and changed its name to Paradise Navigation.

It is a fully up-to-date company, already ISM and ISO 9002 certified by DNV, fully computerised and staffed with expert personnel. It is also a member of prominent organisations including BIMCO, HELMERA and INTERTANKO.

Paradise Navigation initially focused on dry cargo shipping and entered the tanker sector in 2000.

Today, the company has under management 4 panamax tankers: Stena Callas, Stena Chiron, Stena Chronos and Polar.
